More Hadiths For A Blessed Friday

  1. People are great losers when it comes to two bounties namely health and wealth. Because of these, they do not worship Allah as much as they ought to. (Bukhari)
  2. A servant of Allah will remain standing on the day of judgement until he is asked about his age, how he spent his life; about his knowledge and how he used it; about his wealth, from where he acquired it and how he utilized it; and about his body as to how he consumed it. (Tirmidhi)
  3. The food of two persons is sufficient for three, and the food of three is enough to feed four. (Bukhari and Muslim)
  4. If a person gives away in charity something equal to the value of even one date from pure earnings, Allah accepts it with His right hand and multiplies it for him. (Bukhari and Muslim)
  5. Do not amass (ie wealth, goods) or otherwise Allah will hold back from you. (Bukhari and Muslim)
  6. Charity does not reduce wealth. (Muslim)
  7. It is better for you to carry a load of firewood on your back than ask from someone, whether the latter gives you or refuses. (Bukhari and Muslim)
  8. Everyone will be resurrected in the condition in which he died. (Muslim)
  9. Allah continues to accept the repentance of His creatures till the sun rises from the West ie day of judgement. (Muslim)
  10. Allah enhances the honour of one who forgives and exalts in rank the one humbles himself for the sake of his Lord. (Muslim)
